E-commerce firm grows with 'pivotal' French deal
An e-commerce firm has expanded with a takeover.
SaleCycle has bought technology company BEYABLE.
Bosses at Gateshead-based SaleCycle say the move will “create one of Europe’s most advanced full-funnel conversion platforms (and) help e-commerce brands drive measurable revenue”.
Operating as a behavioural marketing platform, SaleCycle helps e-commerce businesses increase sales by identifying anonymous visitors and improving customer conversion.
Paris-based BEYABLE provides technology to support on-site personalisation and conversion optimisation across firms’ digital channels.
Hailing the takeover’s potential in “meeting brands’ demand for a unified approach to recognising, understanding and activating customers in real-time”, Fabien Sanchez, SaleCycle chief executive, said it marks a pivotal moment for the business.
He said: “By bringing together identity resolution, behavioural scoring and on-site personalisation, we are creating a platform that helps brands engage and convert every visitor intelligently in real-time – something the market has been demanding for years.”
Julien Dugaret, BEYABLE chief executive, added: “Joining forces with SaleCycle allows us to scale our vision globally, while continuing to deliver the agility and measurable return on investment our customers value.
“This merger will enable us to address new markets and verticals that SaleCycle has supported for more than 15 years, creating new opportunities for growth and innovation for our customers.”
