Women in Business names new chair

Networking organisation Women in Business has appointed Rachel Miskin as its new chair, strengthening its leadership team.

Rachel is a partner at Hull law firm Bridge McFarland Solicitors, where she specialises in family services, supporting clients through divorce, separation and child and family arrangements.

Her appointment brings additional professional expertise to the organisation as it continues to support women in senior decision-making roles across the region.

Rachel, who takes over the role from Tracey Dennison, said: “I am genuinely honoured and excited to be taking over as chair of Women in Business Hull for 2026.

“My hope is to bring even more local women together to have fun, network, build confidence and form genuine connections and lasting friendships.

“I am committed to doing all I can to support local women in their careers and personal development.”

Women in Business supports and connects professional women across Hull, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, providing networking, support and development opportunities.

The not-for-profit organisation has almost 100 members and hosts a regular programme of events, alongside the annual Women of Achievement Awards.

Rachel’s appointment comes as Women in Business continues to grow its membership and expand its calendar of activity for 2026.

Rachel added: “Since joining Women in Business, I have met so many supportive and inspiring women.

“It has been so much more than a networking group for me, the events and members have inspired me, helped me grow in confidence and brought me a lot of joy when I’ve needed it.

“With such a fantastic committee and the energy our members and guests bring, I’m confident the year ahead will be full of collaboration, learning, laughter and real success.

“We have some fantastic events already lined up and our year will end with the incredible Women of Achievement Awards to celebrate the inspiring achievements and contributions of women within our community.

“It’s going to be a great year!”
