Lawfront boosts portfolio with 'great' firm takeover
A legal services group has bolstered its portfolio with a takeover.
Lawfront has bought Field Seymour Parkes.
The national operator says the swoop for the Reading-based law firm adds “a strong market position in a new geography” to its portfolio.
Supporting business and private clients, Field Seymour Parkes’ 85-strong team provides services across areas including real estate, corporate, employment and dispute resolution.
Lawfront operates across England, with its portfolio featuring firms such as Farleys, Slater Heelis and Trethowans that operate across towns and cities including London, Liverpool, Manchester, Poole, Preston, Sheffield, Wigan and York.
Neil Lloyd, Lawfront chief executive, said: “Field Seymour Parkes is a great addition; strong profitable growth, an ambitious management team and a great people culture means it has all the things we look for in our regional partner firms.
“We look forward to working with the team, investing in their people, IT and artificial intelligence, to help them achieve their growth ambitions in the region.”
Ian Machray, Field Seymour Parkes’ managing partner, added: “Joining Lawfront represents an exciting new chapter.
“This partnership will accelerate our growth ambitions, enabling us to invest in new talent, leverage technologies and take on increasingly complex, high-value work for clients.”
The deal comes a year after Lawfront bolstered its stable with a move for Brachers, which operates offices in Canterbury, Dover, London and Maidstone.
Its portfolio also includes Fisher Jones Greenwood Solicitors and Nelsons.
