Cricket club bowled over by print firm kit deal
A print firm has stepped up to the crease with a cricket partnership.
Zebra Print Group is sponsoring Farsley Cricket Club’s kits across the season.
The deal spans junior development squads through to senior teams.
The Leeds-based company – whose portfolio includes leaflets, branded merchandise and event displays – is also sponsoring a new trophy in memory of its founder and former Farsley Cricket Club chair David Storr.
It will be awarded to the player who hits the most sixes during the season.
Samantha Overton, Zebra Print Group managing director, said: “This partnership is incredibly special to me on a personal level.
“I’ve grown up around Farsley Cricket Club – my dad was chair and my grandad was an umpire.
“To support the club through Zebra Print Group feels like a real full-circle moment.
Miranda Thorpe, Farsley Cricket Club treasurer, added: "We’re delighted to have Zebra Print Group on board as a sponsor.
“Its support makes a real difference, particularly across our junior teams, and helps ensure the club can continue to provide opportunities for players at every level.”
