Identity Consult promotes senior director
Consultancy firm Identity Consult has promoted Simon Allan to senior director as the business continues its expansion across the UK.
Based at the company’s Sunderland headquarters, Simon will take on a strategic role focused on sector growth across the North West and Yorkshire, while continuing to support key North East clients.
He also holds board-level responsibility for people and culture.
Simon joined Identity Consult in 2018 and was appointed to the board in 2022, helping support the company’s growth across its offices in Sunderland, York, Birmingham, Salford and Preston.
His promotion comes during a period of continued expansion for the business, which now employs more than 70 people and continues to strengthen its presence across the North and Midlands.
Allan, who is also an active member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, said: “I’m incredibly proud to step into this role at such an exciting time for the business.
“Expanding my focus across the wider business regions and contributing at board level is a fantastic opportunity.
“Our people are what set IC apart.
“The focus on investing in every individual is not just a statement – it’s something we live every day.
“Achieving Investors in People Gold reflects that, and we are firmly focused on reaching Platinum within the next three years.”
He added: “Over eight years, I’ve grown alongside the business and the people in it – and that sense of shared ambition is what makes this place different.
“There’s a real team mentality here.
“Everyone is pulling in the same direction, supporting each other to succeed, and that’s something I’m proud to be part of and will continue to actively nurture across our teams.”
