CMP strengthens UK and Europe sales leadership
Cable gland and accessories manufacturer CMP Products, headquartered in Cramlington, Northumberland, has restructured its UK and Europe sales leadership team as part of its long-term growth strategy.
Laurie Wilson has been promoted to regional manager for the UK, Ireland, Europe and Central Asia, while Jean Baptiste Praud becomes regional sales manager for Europe.
Gary Groves has also joined the company from Riello UPS as regional sales manager for the UK and Ireland.
Meanwhile, long-serving employee Kath Kearns has moved into a new role as key account manager for Europe, continuing her work supporting strategic customers across the region.
The restructure follows a review of CMP’s sales model as the company looks to strengthen customer relationships and support continued international growth across key markets.
Vince Patterson, chief executive at CMP, said: “As we continue driving our market‑leading position through sustainable investment in our people and a deeper understanding of our customers, it is essential that our sales structure reflects that ambition.
“This new model strengthens collaboration, enhances accountability and ensures we are well positioned to support customers with the safety, reliability and efficiency they expect from CMP.”
