Knights eyes growth in Cardiff with new office
A national legal and professional services firm is strengthening its Welsh presence with a move to a larger city centre office in Cardiff.
Knights is relocating to One Central Square this summer after establishing a team of more than 20 professionals from a temporary base at Brunel House since launching in the city last year.
Bosses say the move marks the next stage of the firm’s expansion plans in Wales and will provide capacity for more than 50 employees from day one, with room for further growth.
Located opposite Cardiff Central station, the new office will support Knights’ growing range of legal and professional services across South Wales, including corporate, real estate, banking, family and dispute resolution work.
James Christacos, regional client services director at Knights, said: “Cardiff has been an exceptional addition to our business.
“In a short period of time we’ve built real momentum, have brought together an outstanding team and we are seeing strong demand from clients who want high-quality professional advice delivered with a modern, commercial approach.
“One Central Square is a perfect fit for our business and our people.
“It gives us the space, facilities and visibility to continue building – strengthening our capabilities, continuing to attract ambitious professionals, and delivering an even broader range of services for clients across South Wales and beyond.
“We are focused on being the legal and professional services business clients choose wherever they are in the UK, and this move significantly enhances our presence and ambition in Wales.”
One Central Square is owned by an overseas investor and is managed by property consultancy Knight Frank.
Kathryn Cripps, head of asset management at Knight Frank, added: “We are delighted to welcome Knights to One Central Square.
“The building has performed exceptionally well over the past year, underpinned by its prime city centre location, high quality specification and amenity offer, alongside a clear and well executed asset management and leasing strategy.
“Continued demand from high‑calibre occupiers highlights the strength of the building’s positioning within the Cardiff office market.”
The relocation follows strong performance across the wider business, with Knights reporting expected annual revenues of £207 million, up 28 per cent year-on-year, alongside an 18 per cent rise in profits to £33 million.
