Consultancy begins ‘next chapter’ after relaunch

A South Yorkshire business consultant is relaunching his advisory firm to help ambitious companies raise their profile, strengthen relationships and achieve sustainable growth.

R3D2, founded by Rich Davies, has officially returned, marking a new chapter for the consultancy ten years after it was first established.

Based in South Yorkshire, the business works with owners, directors and senior leaders to develop their market presence through a combination of marketing, networking and business development support.

Rich brings more than 30 years of experience in business development, account management and relationship building.

During his career, he has held senior roles with organisations including Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, FluidOne, Affinity IT and ProCo Print.

Most recently, he served as director at IT provider Jibba Jabba, where he helped shape growth strategies and strengthen relationships with organisations across the region.

R3D2 will primarily support Yorkshire businesses with annual turnover exceeding £1 million, although its services are available to organisations across a range of sectors.

Rich says one of the biggest challenges facing business leaders is maintaining growth while balancing the demands of day-to-day operations.

Through R3D2, he aims to provide practical support that helps organisations build momentum and unlock new opportunities.

He said: “There are so many brilliant businesses out there that are ambitious for growth but remain almost invisible outside of their existing networks or client base.

“R3D2 helps businesses build meaningful connections and create structures that support long-term growth.

“I help businesses create momentum, generate opportunities and build the relationships that ultimately lead to sales.

“Many businesses rely heavily on one individual to drive sales and relationships.

“When that person leaves, momentum can quickly disappear.

“My role is to help create a strategy and structure that becomes transferable across the business so it can continue delivering results long term.”

“I’m really excited to be relaunching R3D2 and I’m looking forward to helping businesses that are doing great things but aren’t always getting the recognition they deserve.”

Alongside supporting businesses, Rich hopes to mentor owners and future leaders by sharing lessons learned throughout his career.

He added: “Over the last seven years I’ve gained more experience, built a bigger network and, most importantly, grown as a person.

“I’ve worked closely with business owners and directors and developed a real passion for helping businesses grow.

“The desire to give back and share my experience has become stronger over time and now feels like the right moment to fully focus on R3D2 again.

“This isn’t just consultancy or advice.

“It’s about helping businesses operate with greater clarity, consistency and confidence.

“Through tailored strategy and practical support, I help organisations strengthen their position, build meaningful recognition and discover new opportunities.”

The consultancy’s name also has a personal connection, representing Rich and his two children, Rhys and Riley.

Rich added: “My children are the most important thing in my life, and I hope my journey inspires them too.”

Alongside his commercial career, Rich is a well-known figure in the regional business community through mentoring, networking and voluntary roles.

He sits on several boards, including Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, UTC Sheffield City Centre and Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust.

He also holds ambassadorial roles with The Archer Project and the Institute of Directors.

Looking ahead, Rich added: “I’m excited to work with businesses across different sectors where my skills and experience can make a genuine difference.

“I’m looking forward to R3D2 becoming the go-to consultancy for growth and strategic visibility in South Yorkshire.

“This next chapter is about giving back, helping others grow and building something that leaves a positive impact.”
