Deeley Group strengthens later living team
Coventry-based construction and property development company Deeley Group has appointed Jon Sidley as later living and partnership manager as it continues to expand its presence in the care and later living sector.
Jon brings more than 20 years of experience in construction and is a trained quantity surveyor, project manager and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
He has extensive expertise in site acquisition, project delivery and partnership development, having previously run his own Midlands housebuilding business.
In recent years, he has specialised in partnerships, working with organisations to identify and deliver new development opportunities.
In his new role, Jon will focus on sourcing land opportunities, building strategic partnerships and supporting care and later living projects across the region.
He said: “I have been aware of the firm’s reputation as a well-established and highly respected regional business for some time, and it was that heritage, reputation and proven track record of success that attracted me to the role.
“When a company has the amount of repeat business as Deeley, combined with excellent financial stability, you know it is in a great position to grow further.
“I’m excited about helping drive projects forward, identifying new opportunities for Deeley and bringing in new partners to support the continued growth of the care and later living portfolio.”
Jon’s appointment comes as Deeley Group continues to grow its reputation in the sector, which accounted for more than 90 per cent of the company’s projects during 2024/25.
Eleanor Deeley, joint managing director of Deeley Group, added: “Jon joins the business at an important time for our growth in care and later living.
“His experience in land acquisition and partnership development will be invaluable as we look to build our already strong pipeline and continue to deliver high-quality schemes across the Midlands and surrounding areas.”
