Victory Conversions names new managing director

East Yorkshire vehicle conversion specialist Victory Conversions has appointed Mark Brickhill as managing director.

Mark brings more than 20 years’ experience in the automotive sector, having held senior leadership roles with Goodyear-Dunlop Tyres, Turtle Wax and Klarius Group, where he led a significant period of business growth.

He succeeds founding managing director Steve Shaw, who will retire at Christmas following a handover period.

In his new role, Mark will lead Victory Conversions as it continues to manufacture specialist vehicles for the emergency services and private sector.

Mark said: “Founding managing director Steve Shaw has achieved a huge amount since establishing Victory Conversions and I’m looking forward to working with him, the wider team, and our trusted suppliers to build on that success. 

“Victory Conversions offers an extensive range of vehicle conversions with customers across the police, fire and ambulance services together with both amber light and private fleet partners, making it one of the most exciting businesses in the conversions sector. 

“I look forward to building on the relationships we have established with the valued customers and trusted suppliers who have supported Victory’s impressive growth to date and would like to say thanks in advance for their continued support as we further grow the business.”

Mark’s appointment forms part of Victory Conversions’ long-term leadership transition, strengthening the business as it builds on its specialist vehicle conversion expertise and prepares for its next phase of growth.

James Doyle, managing director of The Rix Group, which owns Victory Conversions, added: “Mark has an excellent CV with many impressive highlights that demonstrate his ability to grow companies on a significant scale.
