NECIT appoints commercial manager

Global welding certification and inspection specialist NECIT, headquartered at The Quadrus Centre in Boldon Business Park, South Tyneside, has appointed Tina Russel as commercial manager.

Tina brings almost 30 years’ experience across the energy and oil & gas sectors, alongside earlier experience in financial services.

Her expertise spans business development, vendor inspection, transformation, change management and continuous improvement, with experience leading growth and complex organisational initiatives.

In her new role, Tina will lead NECIT's commercial strategy and strengthen client engagement across its vendor inspection and technical services activities.

She will also support the expansion of the company’s global vendor inspection capabilities, developing relationships with EPC contractors and operators, growing key accounts and generating new revenue streams.

Tina has also served as vice chair of the Energy Industries Council, supporting industry development and collaboration.

Tina said: “This new position at NECIT encompasses my skillset and professional development, and provides me the opportunity to further grow my expertise within this sector.

“As NECIT’s new commercial manager, my primary focus will be upon strengthening client relationships, driving growth, and enhancing service delivery within the vendor inspection and technical services space.”
