Grow your own garden furniture
A furniture retailer has taken a novel approach to garden chairs with the launch of a range of grow-your-own grass armchairs. Purves & Purves’ is offering a green alternative to normal garden furniture, which often find themselves at risk from rust and theft. The DIY armchair requires 240 litres of soil and “steady watering”, taking about 10 days to sprout its green covering. Check it out at http://www.purves.co.uk/.
