Virtual Florist Business Goes Live
North East entrepreneur Neil Brown is helping people to say it with flowers as he launches his Virtual Florist business this week, which promises a 24/7 flower service at the touch of a button.
‘Flowers in 24’ will operate through touch screens which will allow customers to order flowers via mobile phone Top-Up kiosks at key locations nationwide – rather than over the internet or from their local florist. The service, which will operate through existing Alphyra UK mobile phone kiosks, is the brain child of Neil Brown from Newcastle who is looking forward to introducing his new shopping experience to the region.
Neil said: “I believe that touch screen kiosks, selling services and commodities will soon become a recognised feature on the high street. I am excited that Flowers in 24 will be at the forefront of this major development in the way we all shop.” John McClure, National Account Manager at Alphyra UK said: “We immediately saw the fantastic potential of Flowers in 24. Everyone loves receiving flowers and as a commodity they represent a major proportion of the retail gift market.
However, it is always the way that you can never find a florist when you need one and Flowers in 24 will fill that gap.“ The service promises delivery within 24 hours and is aimed at people on the move. It launches at Newcastle Airport next week.
