DJ dupes Asda
A radio joker tricked an Asda worker into announcing “Tesco’s is cheaper” over the tannoy of a packed store. A recording of the announcement is now sweeping the internet, and we’ve found a copy here. The unknown DJ called the store asking for help finding his missing daughter ‘Tess Cosis-Cheaper’, who he said was inside. The customer service worker didn’t spot the joke and immediately put out a call for the bogus girl – repeating her name twice. Bosses at the store in Charlton, London, last night confessed they had no idea they had been duped.
