Sheep rustlers get cold feet
A German shepherd (a shepherd in Germany, not a dog) whose entire flock of sheep was stolen was amazed to find them back in their field the next day. Gunther Manninger called police after his sheep were stolen from a field near the city of Aachen, reports Ananova.com.
He said: “I had a sleepless night worrying about them, and could not believe my eyes when I went to the field the next day to see they had all been returned.”
Tire tracks were apparently found at the scene. Police believe the animals had been stolen but then returned when the thieves got nervous about their new acquisitions.
