Thief queues next to victim - neither realises
A thief was arrested after he ended up queuing next to his victim in the same shop. The woman had gone to the store to explain her bag had been stolen and someone had used her credit card to buy DVDs. Just then, a man came in and tried to return the stolen DVDs for cash, reports the Daily Mirror.
The two did not recognise each other, and the woman even made room for him at the till. When the manager of the store in Arizona checked the receipt, it dawned on her that the victim and thief were standing side-by-side in front of her.
The thief was, unsurprisingly, caught.
