A million Xmas gifts for sale
Around a million unwanted Christmas presents are being sold on eBay including some still wrapped. Among items on offer are an easy-to-knit scarf kit, described by the seller as “a lovely idea but I cannot knit and really don’t have time to learn”.
A Simpsons cuckoo clock, girl’s lilac boots, a pair of Red Monkey jeans and a £20 Next voucher - oddly on offer at £17.99 - are also on sale, reports The Sun.
Ayesha Johnson, 23, of London, is selling a pair of £300 Prada shoes given to her by her brother. She said: “I hate them. They are old-fashioned court shoes, a style I’d never wear.”
Richard Kanareck, of eBay, said: “Re-homing a present means it will find a new owner who will really appreciate it.”
