Film firm becomes 'Company of the Year'
A Newcastle-based digital communications company is celebrating its latest awards win. Twenty First Century Media was given the title of ’Moving Image Company of the Year“ at the North East and Borders Centre Royal Television Society Awards. The company also won the Andrea Wonfor trophy which recognises their achievements in encouraging new talent.
The judges said: “The panel admired not only Twenty First Century Media’s impressive recent growth and continued potential, but the considerable risks and innovative steps it has taken to succeed. When it first started, this youthful and entrepreneurial company looked closely at its potential markets and quickly focused on the corporate sector - a market some of us doubted was there.”
Twenty First Century Media’s client list includes US businesses and European markets, and some clients are on their third, fourth and even fourteenth project.
This year’s wins follow on from the company’s success at previous RTS awards, where they have scooped numerous awards including “Best Promotion” and “Best Production for a Target Audience”.
Sam Morton, managing director of twenty first century media, said: “Naturally we’re delighted to win company of the year, we really feel that the North has some excellent creative talent and we hope that we can continue our growth and create a nationally recognised digital media powerhouse in the North - we would also like to thank our clients for their continued support. Lastly I would like to say to any young talented filmmakers out there: please give us a call!”
