ATM fraud was a sweet success
A seven-year-old German boy was caught using his gran’s bank card to take out cash. The offences came to light in Aachen, Germany after the boy’s friends cleared the shelves of sweets at a local store. The other children’s parents then raised the alarm and the tiny crook was caught.
A police spokesman said: “He could barely reach the console to type in the number. But he had seen that was how his gran got the cash and he just took her card and copied her. He did not know it was anything wrong.”
