ID pics too sexy, say police
Police chiefs in Romania have ordered women to cover up after receiving saucy snapshots on identity card applications. Officers claim some of the pictures are so revealing they can’t even tell if the women are wearing any clothes.
Now officials in Iasi, central Romania, have told women applicants that their pictures must be “decent”.
“We had many cases when ladies came wearing very sexy tops so that from the picture you believe she’s naked. But this is official ID, so it should be decent,” said police chief Viorel Scutaru.
