Newcastle voted friendliest city
Newcastle has been voted Britain’s friendliest city, followed by Liverpool and Manchester.
The Northern theme in the Travelodge survey of 5,500 people is being used as a boost to the World Cup bid.
Andrew Dixon, chair of the World Cup Bid core group, said: “This research really does confirm what we already knew, the Geordies embrace visitors to the city, and offer the friendliest face of any city in the UK.”
We also have the Bigg Market.
