Does your secretary deserve a medal?
Bosses with businesses based in the NE, DH and SR postcodes have just one more week to reward their PAs and secretaries by nominating them for an award.
Designed to recognise the unsung ‘back of office’ heroes, the Best Secretary on Tyneside Awards 2009 close on Thursday 10 September.
Nominations can be made at www.bestsecretaryontyneside.co.uk and celebrate the skills and experience of the people who really run the region’s businesses and act as gatekeepers to top management.
The winner of the accolade, created last year by Pitman Training Newcastle, will receive the top prize of a London weekend break for two with first class travel and one year’s membership of the IPA. Runners up receive a two-day spa break at Seaham Hall or an exclusive designer leather laptop bag from Me Me Me.
The 2009 Award ceremony will be held at Tiger Tiger Newcastle on 30 September 2009.
Dave Stevens of Pitman Training Newcastle said: “We all know that a lot of the power within organisations lies with the secretaries and PAs but these are often the people who get the least recognition for their hard work.
“This competition is the perfect chance for North East bosses to show their appreciation and treat their staff to a well earned perk of a night out amongst the very best people in the industry.”
Closing date for nominations is 10 September 2009, and the shortlisted entrants will be invited to meet the judging panel, which includes last year’s winner, Julie Britt, PA to the CEO of NaREC.
If you have a PA or secretary who goes the extra mile, or for more information, visit www.bestsecretaryontyneside.co.uk to nominate them now.
