This is a Ho Ho Hold Up
Santa has robbed a bank in America. Well, a man dressed as Santa at least (just cover ourselves for libel there - hate to be sued by the real Santa).
Metropolitan Nashville Police say a man dressed in a Santa suit and sunglasses entered a SunTrust bank on Tuesday morning, then demanded money from a member of staff.
Witnesses said the bank clerk asked the man to remove his sunglasses, and he subsequently pulled a gun from his sack.
After stashing an unknown amount of cash in his sack, he told staff and customers he needed the money because “Santa needed to pay his elves.”
Police spokeswomen Kristin Mumford said: “I don’t remember a Santa doing that.”
