Metro braves the snow for Tyne and Wear’s workforce
BUSINESS commuters in the region will be relieved to hear that the Tyne and Wear metro is running services as normal despite the snow.
With blizzards causing havoc on the region’s roads some bus companies have needed to withdraw it services with buses getting stuck on icy roads.
The region’s Airports have also suffering delays and cancellations with Durham Tees Valley closing yesterday due to the adverse weather conditions.
