Darlington firm helps retailer double its annual profits
A DARLINGTON based digital marketing firm has helped a menswear retailer double its annual online revenue in just two months.
Terraces Menswear is gearing up for a bumper 2011 following its decision to enlist the services of Fifteen Digital.
The company has adopted Fifteen’s specialist ecommerce software and after just two months it has seen online revenues increase by a dramatic 248%, with order numbers growing from an average of 60 per month to over 300.
John Borthwick, director at Fifteen Digital, said: “We believe running your online shop should be as easy as internet banking.
“ We’ve combined a intuitive interface with step-by-step wizards to make the process of selling online as easy as possible. We also manage the infrastructure behind the website, including the security to ensure buyers are 100% safe.“
The software enabled Terraces to enjoy an 89% increase in visitors to its websites via mobile devices, almost doubling the average number of pages viewed by smartphone users.
The digital sales surge will now allow the company to double the size of its store.
