KLM launches new flights from North East
Businesses commuters from across the region are set to enjoy improved international traveling links after KLM announced a string of new flights from Durham Tees Valley.
The three-times-a-day KLM service to Schiphol Airpor - one of Europe’s most important international business centres - is widely used by the region’s business community as well as long-haul leisure passengers.
The new schedule means there will be an early morning departure from Durham Tees Valley at 06.15, with further flights departing at 09.20 and 13.45.
Flights from Amsterdam arrive at 08.40, 13.05 and 22.05.
Airport director Mike Morton, said: “One of the key benefits of the revised schedule is that it means improved links for passengers on flights to and from destinations including Singapore, Hong Kong, New York and Frankfurt.
“We know that the business community see Amsterdam as the first choice for access to the worldwide flights network.”
