Beer wholesaler unveils expansion plans
A Northumberland beer wholesaler has unveiled expansion plans after moving to new premises and creating 3 new jobs.
Northumbrian Gifts has moved to more suitable, larger premises in Ashington, increasing their space by 300 per cent as a result of increased demand for their services.
The premises, at Birchwood Way, Ashwood Business Park, North Seaton, was officially opened at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Geoff Hodgson, chairman of the North East England Tourism Advisory Service, who was guest of honour at the ceremony, said: “The growth of Northumbrian Gifts is a testament to what can be achieved when a good idea is combined with hard work and commitment.
“This is a North East success story in every sense of the word; locally produced products being presented in such a way as to increase demand and promote the area.”
Northumbrian Gifts co-founder Stephen Wanless, added: “We are delighted our business has grown steadily and that we have been able to support the region’s drinks producers by bringing their products to a wider customer base.
