Fluid Group creates 35 jobs in Northumberland
A Newcastle-based leisure operator has announced it is to open a new outlet in Morpeth creating 35 new jobs.
Fluid Group, owner of the Barluga restaurant in Newcastle, is launching Barluga Deli, a European styled cafe which will bring a casual style of dining combined with deli counters to Sanderson Arcade.
Set out over two floors, Barluga Deli will occupy Unit 3D providing a combined footprint of 4,000 square feet, creating space for a total of 120 covers/diners.
With the opportunity to build on its success, Sanderson Arcade’s developers, Dransfield Properties, made a direct approach to Fluid to capitalise on its existing Barluga brand
The deal has seen an overall investment of £1m.
Fluid Group has signed a 20 year lease and is looking to open Barluga Deli late summer.
