PwC scoops top award
Accountancy firm PwC has scooped the prize of Branch of the Year at the North East Accountancy Awards for the second year running.
The awards were established five years ago to recognise excellence within the fields of accounting and finance.
PwC Newcastle was chosen to receive the award after their efforts to help both public and private sector clients survive the recession by identifying opportunities for businesses to make improvements and adapt to change.
The award was collected by senior partner Paul Woolston and partner Janet Eilbeck on behalf of the office, at the ceremony at the Newcastle Marriott, Gosforth Park.
Paul Woolston said: “We are delighted to have been named Branch of the Year for a second year running. This award recognises the expertise, level of service and commitment of all of our staff.
“PwC have always been extremely committed to the local market and it is very encouraging to be recognised in this way.”
