Connect Newcastle launched to stimulate local business
An initiative has been launched to encourage engagement among local businesses.
Connect Newcastle was created by Marking Consultancy, ‘Connect Marketing’ and events company ‘Running In Heels’, to try and encourage more positive trade and commerce in the region.
The event, which was held at Maften Hall, was attended by 30 business owners and senior decision makers from the Newcastle Area, and was met with a positive response by attendees.
The event last week featured a keynote speaker from Tait Walker Corporate Finance, who spoke to delegates about ways to access finance as well as the implications of new tax regulations for businesses.
Connect Newcastle director Dan Millard said “We are delighted by the success of our launch and the positive feedback we have had from our delegates.”
John Sutcliffe from WJR Wealth, was at the event and commented:
“I thoroughly enjoyed today’s meeting and I am looking forward to the next one.”
