Local pair form business to help SME finance
A pair of North East business leaders have joined forces to help businesses in the region understand their data with the latest analysis techniques.
Dynamic Financials has been formed by Ian Kinnery. A board member at Tees Valley Unlimited and a regional chair for the Institute of Directors, and Paul Higginbottom, an associate for the Institute for Independent Business.
The business will monitor data as it is produced to enable clients to track their finances in real time. It will then use the date to create a scoreboard for its clients to enable them to easily access an up-to-the-minute assessment of their financial position.
Mr Kinnery said: “We are business people who want to help other business people understand their business better, have better control and better results than they would otherwise have.”
“Dynamic Financials provides a way to track, measure, improve and ultimately predict the final result by monitoring the scores at all times, not just after the final whistle.”
Gemma Cooper will serve as business development manager for the company, and will bring with her a wealth of knowledge on the challenges faced by SMEs, having previously spent seven years working as a Business Link advisor.
Mr Higginbottom added: “We help them understand how the complex matrix of numbers which represents what is happening in their business works and how changing one thing can impact across a whole range of areas.”
