Berghaus launch first TV commercial
North East outdoor brand Berghaus has revealed a new global marketing campaign that will feature a TV commercial - a first for the brand.
‘Live for Adventure’ is the slogan that will embody the philosophy behind Berghaus in the new brand positioning programme.
Parent company Pentland Brands has dealt with the campaign, overseen by global brand manager Joanne Scott.
Following 18 months of development, it will launch in the UK this autumn, and includes an integrated schedule of TV, print, outdoor and digital advertising.
Caroline Smith, head of marketing for Berghaus in the UK and Europe, said: “Berghaus has always been about more than simply helping people to get into the outdoors.”
Berghaus sponsored athletes Leo Houlding, Philippe and Anna Gatta, Rob Jarman and Leah Crane will star in the brand’s first ever TV commercial, which was filmed in the Italian Dolomites over 10 days, and tells the story of how the adventurous group socialise in the mountains.
The advert combines climbing, high altitude ridge running, mountain biking and BASE-jumping, all leading up to an outdoor party.
Ms Smith added: “It’s spectacular, multi-activity, colourful and doesn’t take itself too seriously.
