Recruitment drive at expanding agency

A fast-growing digital agency has created new jobs and moved into a new headquarters on the back of a string of new contract wins and the launch of a new range of mobile-focused services.

Darlington-based Fifteen Digital has moved its HQ to Lingfield House and added two new members of staff to its team, with hopes of imminently recruiting a third.

The Company has appointed new interim marketing manager Beverley Rose-Olmez, from Billingham, along with social media coordinator Rebecca Gair, from Sunderland, and it will also be adding a new SEO and pay-per-click account executive to the team.

The expansion, which will bring the number of team members at Fifteen Digital’s Darlington office up to four, comes in response to growing demand for specialist social media and SEO services, while the Company is also stepping up its presence in the mobile website development field.

Fifteen Digital is currently working on a significant contract with QMH Hotels, which involves managing the social media communications for 18 hotels within the Group as well as carrying out e-mail marketing campaigns to help them drive sales for specific events held throughout the year.

Managing director John Borthwick said: “We’re really pleased to have moved into a larger office in Lingfield House and this is the latest exciting step in our development.

“With recent contract wins of new business and more cross-selling to existing customers we are hoping that we can add to the team further.

“We’re now working on our own marketing strategy which will help us to shape our immediate future and we look forward to seeing where this will take us over the next year or so.”

In terms of new job creation, Fifteen Digital is expecting to take on a new programmer in the near future who is adept at mobile site and app development – a key area of growth for the firm.

New members of the team will also be needed to work on Fifteen Digital’s new social media services which will enable businesses to monitor and shape their reputation online.

The services will allow companies to “listen in” to people’s conversations on social media pages, forums and blogs with software being used to identify and engage with key influencers, potential customers and product champions clients.
