Financial services firm secures national advisory accreditation

Pavis Financial Management has become the first firm in the North West to be awarded a prestigious accreditation. The Liverpool-based firm underwent stringent due diligence by Trustee Advisory Services before being appointed as an Approved Advisory Firm for charity and trust investments. Having received a 4-star accreditation, Pavis will be re-assessed annually to ensure it continues to meet the required standards of client care, operational management and investment expertise. Managing director Bob Newton said: “Trustees and their professional advisors are under consistent regulatory pressure to demonstrate that they are following best practice in relation to the investment of Trust or Charity funds. This includes when referring to other professionals, as well as when acting as a trustee. “This accreditation demonstrates that we are well ahead of the curve and it will hopefully provide existing and potential clients with an extra layer of reassurance that we will act in their best interests at all times. “We are delighted to be the region’s first accredited firm and the challenge now is to make sure we maintain our high standards and we are well-equipped for re-assessment next year.” Trustee Advisory Services helps the trustees of charities, family trusts and pensions, as well as their professional advisers, to make the correct decisions that ensure they are compliant with investment regulations. Pavis Financial Management is a firm of independent chartered financial planners headquartered in Hope Street, Liverpool. The firm advises clients on investments totalling in excess of £100m.
