PM+M achieves Gold Investors in People status
Blackburn-headquartered PM+M – a leading chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group – has seen its Investor in People status upgraded from Silver to Gold.
The highly respected standard is the benchmark of good people management practice and recognises the commitment of organisations that invest more in their teams. To achieve Gold recognition, businesses not only have to meet the standard 39 evidence requirements but also an additional 126 criteria. Only around 3% of IIP accredited businesses are awarded the highest accolade.
Jane Parry, lead tax and HR partner at PM+M said: “I am delighted at this recognition of the commitment to development and growth that we have made over the past few years and continue to embrace. Our success is in part thanks to our focus on culture which is underpinned by our key values of quality, achievement and fun. It is this clearly defined clarity of vision, which is shared by all of our people, that enables us to provide the service we do.”
PM+M also works hard to ensure the whole team contributes to the setting of its goals and it encourages personal objectives that challenge everyone in the firm to be the best that they can be. It also supports employees throughout their professional qualifications, offers regular performance reviews alongside an annual personal development plan to ensure that potential does not go unfulfilled.
Jane added:“My view is that that the happiness and motivation of the team are vital to the success of any organisation and the importance of creating an upbeat working atmosphere can’t be underestimated. I’m certain the infectious enthusiasm generated by the team each and every day will provide the impetus by which we maintain our Gold standard.”
