Kennington's Two Fingers Brewing shortlisted for six-figure funding prize
Luxury whisky brand Chivas Regal is expected to dish out $1m to fund startups as part of its major crowd-funding scheme.
“The Venture”, which will benefit businesses that support social and environmental issues, has been created in partnership with Havas London,
The Pernod Ricard-owned brand is looking to back viable start-ups that have developed sustainable impact solutions and have the “ambition to change the world”, according to Marketing Weekly.
Kennington-based Two Fingers Brewing Co is amongst 16 shortlisted startups which will now compete in a public vote to win funding from a $1m fund.
The beer brand, which donates all its profits to Prostate Cancer UK, may be set to win $250,000 of funding from The Venture. Voting closes 14th June, and the startups will then pitch competitively on 24 July to win the remaining share.
