Jet2holidays launch first ever Leeds Bradford flight to Kefalonia
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays saw the takeoff of its first ever flight from Leeds Bradford to Kefalonia today, which ia an exclusive destination for Yorkshire.
Kefolina is jsut one of four new Jet2.com and Jet2holidays routes taking off this year from Leeds Bradford, making this summer’s programme the biggest yet. Antalya and Malta were launched last week and Tunisia also took off today.
Flights to the Greek Island operate on a weekly basis - every Wednesday. Jet2.com flights are available from £91 per person, including taxes, with Jet2holidays ATOL protected package breaks available from £309pp, secured for only a £60 deposit.
The passengers aboard the airline company’s first flight to Kefalonia from the yorkshire airport checked in along with former Britain’s Got Talent contestants, Stavros Flatley.
To mark the launch of inaugural route, the father and son team of Demi and Lagi Demetriou performed their infamous dance for the passengers, and even encouraged the them to join in.
The duo gained overnight fame when they auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, with their comical Greek take on Michael Flatley and Riverdance.
