Harrogate’s Joe Manby Limited secures five new event contracts
A Harrogate-based events services company is preparing for a very busy autumn after being appointed to manage five new event contracts across the UK.
These new contract wins follow Joe Manby Limited reporting its busiest first quarter, which saw the number of events the company will stage throughout the UK between 2015 and 2016 rise to 35.
Among the new appointments is the annual franchise show for Specsavers UK at ICC Birmingham in November.
Another major contract is for the launch of a new consumer show The Ultimate Christmas Fair, one of the first events taking place at the new Exhibition Centre Liverpool, due to open this month. The show is expected to attract 25,000 visitors when it debuts 26-29 November.
The Handmade Fair at MCCC Manchester, the Family Pet Show at EventCity Manchester and the Pan Dental Society at ICC Birmingham round off the other new appointments.
Andrew Manby, director of Joe Manby Limited, said: “We are delighted to add these five new shows to our portfolio. We are definitely seeing an increase in confidence within the industry as well as a rise in consumer shows. It’s set to be a busy time at Joe Manby Limited.”
