Liverpool's Keel development reports surge in tenant interest
After three months on the market, The Keel residential development in Liverpool is now more than 50% let.
Property management firm Touchstone Residential, which is marketing and managing the site, has confirmed that more than 80% of the one-bed apartments, 25% of the two-beds and around one-third of the three-beds are now all taken, while all of the developments studio apartments are let.
The Keel, located on Queen’s Dock near the city centre, was created after Liverpool’s former HMRC customs and revenue building underwent a £30m transformation. The site comprises 240 apartments, a residents’ gym and waterside terrace area.
Touchstone Residential’s Matthew Smith said: “The Keel has generated extremely high levels of interest from the outset, with strong demand for viewings since we unveiled the development back in June.”
Tenants are due to move into the property at the end of September.
Matthew continued: “The Liverpool rental market is very competitive, but the outstanding interiors of the show apartment, proximity to the city centre and superb riverside location have really captured people’s attention.”
