Artesian Solutions opens Boston office as part of global expansion

London-based developer of social intelligence software, Artesian Solutions, has announced the first step in its international expansion plans with the opening of its new office in Boston, USA.

The company, which counts Adobe, Barclays and American Express among its customers, provides up-to-the-minute intelligence, drawn from millions of sources such as news, corporate information and social media, directly in the hands of B2B salespeople.

Following a successful Series B investment round which raised $8m last year, the firm hopes to grow its 25,000 multi-national user base through its foray into the US market.

To help the new venture get on its feet, Artesian founder Mike Blackadder will relocate to the firm’s Boston office and support the newly appointed Vice President of Sales Tom Beriau.

As part of the move, the company became a newly incorporated entity in January to facilitate its stateside operations. Andrew Yates, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, sees incorporation as the first step in Artesian’s global expansion. He commented: “Incorporation sends a clear message to our US customers about our intention to provide support for our award winning service on a global basis.

“Our largely multi-national customers many of whom are headquartered in the US, have been driving demand for Artesian

“Our new office in Boston is just the beginning of our expansion strategy, but it will ensure we are perfectly placed to capitalise on this glaring gap in the market, and provide our customers with the solutions they are demanding, everywhere they operate.”
