Canvas Offices strengthens real estate leadership
Canvas Offices, a London-based flexible workspace provider, has appointed Darren Hill as its new head of real estate in a newly created role to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Darren joins Canvas with experience spanning property, technology, flexible workspace and software sales.
A chartered surveyor, he brings a commercial and people-focused approach to sourcing and delivering new space, having previously worked within the flex sector and across complex real estate transactions.
In his new role, Darren will focus on expanding Canvas’ London portfolio while strengthening partnerships with landlords and enhancing the experience for the businesses that occupy its spaces.
He said: “I was drawn to Canvas by the family feel and entrepreneurial culture created by Yaron and Oren.
“They have an unconditional belief in each other and in the business.
“Canvas develops people as well as spaces, and if I can contribute even a one to two per cent improvement, it would be a real honour.
“This is an exciting chance to build something new, at a company that does things differently.”
Founded in 2018, Canvas Offices provides design-led flexible workspaces across prime London locations including Mayfair, Shoreditch and Holborn.
The business operates with an average occupancy rate of 97 per cent and is home to brands including Rough Trade, Patchwork, Malin+Goetz and Augustinus Bader.
Yaron Rosenblum, co-founder of Canvas, added: “We are delighted to welcome Darren to the team.
“His unique background across property, technology and flexible workspace, combined with his entrepreneurial mindset, makes him the perfect fit for this new role that bridges strategy, growth and collaboration.
“His appointment is an important step in our mission to grow Canvas sustainably and strategically and we are in no doubt Darren will make a positive impact.”
