Leading fair trade lender appoints North East agency
A leading fair trade lender has awarded North East based Blue River Design with agency exclusivity to assist them in expanding the reach and scope of their advertising activity.
Co-operative lending group the Shared Interest Society, aims to appeal to a broader demographic, encouraging a wider audience to invest in its ethical lending schemes.
Shared Interest underwent a re-branding in 2007 and were awarded the Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development in 2008.
Last month the first wave of Blue River’s cross-media campaign was released and there will be further campaign developments throughout the year.
Patrick Dodd, Marketing Manager of Shared Interest Society, said: “We chose to work with Blue River as they were very quick to understand our market and creative needs, whilst capturing the essence of the Shared Interest Brand. We are delighted with their professionalism, engaging concepts and excellence in design.”
Blue River’s Managing Director, Simon Douglas, said: “We have grown steadily from our central hub in Newcastle and are proud of our local roots. The opportunity to work with Shared Interest is very exciting for us and it’s great to be involved with an ethical project on such a large scale.”
