Online help from Google and Codeworks
Codeworks Connect, the trade association for the North East’s digital sector, has teamed up with Google to offer businesses in the region online e-marketing seminars today.
The sessions are designed to help SMEs with the decision of where to focus resources and budgets to deliver maximum impact.
Andrew Barke, Industry Head at Google, said: “We’re offering local businesses the opportunity to hear from Aidan O’Curry, a New Business Development Executive from Google, on Wednesday 22 April through webinars at 11am or 2pm. Aidan will be giving an overview of the latest online trends and how you can use the online channel to boost the return-on-investment on your marketing spend.”
Jane Hutchinson, events and marketing executive at Codeworks Connect, said: “Online advertising is one of the best and most cost-effective ways of promoting your business. In today’s difficult economic conditions, it’s essential that companies continue to promote their services, but that they get the maximum return on their investment. At these webinars, Google’s expert will show North East businesses the latest and most effective ways of marketing themselves online - enabling them to stay ahead of their competition and increase profits.”
Andrew Barke adds: “This is a fantastic opportunity to gain some invaluable and free advice from the experts - all from the comfort of your own office. This will be an online meeting so all you will need is a phone-line and an internet connection. Details of an offer for North East businesses to work directly with Google on their online strategy will also be unveiled.”
