Digital marketing debates with Mobious
A series of free events offering digital marketing advice to North East businesses has been announced by Newcastle University Business School.
The business school has been working in conjunction with digital marketing agency Mobious to create seminars on the theory and practice of digital marketing, and how these are being applied by companies in the region.
The first event, titled ‘Using digital to acquire and interact with your customers’, will see speakers from Nexus, DFDS and Denalli join representatives from Mobious and the University in discussing how digital channels such as email marketing, search marketing and online media are being used to attract and communicate with customers.
Future events will feature speakers from Sage, Molson Coors and NewcastleGateshead Initiative, among others.
Iain Gibbons, Managing Director of Mobious, said: “The Digital Economy is accelerating and it’s vital that companies see digital channels as integral to their overall marketing. This series of debates are as relevant for a small business as they are for a large corporate. They will be a genuine insight into how digital is developing and how it is being used right now by brands.
“Thanks to Newcastle University Business School we have been able to attract top level speakers and provide the sessions for free, which is very welcome to any business in the current economic climate.”
