Awards open to celebrate ?unsung heroes? of the business world.
A competition to celebrate the “unsung heroes” of the business world is open for entrants, and PAs and secretaries are urged to enter The Best Secretary on Tyneside Awards 2009.
The award, organised by Pittman Training Newcastle, will be set-aside for the “very best” secretary in terms of experience and skills.
The closing date for nominations is 10 September, so any bosses who think they know a PA or secretary who deserves some time in the limelight are urged to enter.
Dave Stevens, of Pitman Training, said: “Having founded the Award last year, we felt that it was even more important to run it again this year.
“Everyone is working harder and harder to combat the effects of the recession and work is definitely tougher this year.
“This is a chance for North East bosses to really show their appreciation to their staff.”
The awards ceremony will be held at Tiger Tiger in Newcastle on 30 September, and nominations can be given through the website, or by calling 0191 241 1122.
