North East businesses to get naked advice
An international business guru known as the Naked Leader is coming to Newcastle next month to help North East businesses reach their potential.
David Taylor, who has worked for Coca Cola, Eon and Proctor and Gamble, has earned an international reputation with his books and has been invited by Newcastle Business School to take part in their 20-year anniversary with Northumbria University.
He said: “Having worked with a North East agency, I am fully aware of the incredible talent, drive, ambition and commitment there is within the region.
“I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge so this can be harnessed in the greatest way possible.”
Taylor made a name for himself after creating a structure for success founded upon studies of how natural leaders manage teams across countries, cultures and backgrounds.
The Naked Leader’s talk will be followed by a speech from Michael Owen, Managing Director of Newcastle based marketing and design company onebestway, which recently took part in a TV documentary that tested Taylor’s theories and enjoyed increased profits.
Deborah Ions, Marketing Manager at Newcastle Business School, said: “David has a formidable reputation, having coached teams at some of the world’s largest organisations.
“It is a pleasure to have him give regional businesses the opportunity to benefit from his expertise as part of our anniversary celebrations.”
The presentation is open free of charge to members of the regional business community, students and alumni and will take place from 6pm on Thursday 1 October at Newcastle Business School’s City Campus.
