Monday Movers: Latest North East appointments
DANIEL Benjamin from Newcastle has secured a sales support consultant role within the financial services team at Haines Watts Chartered Accountants’ Newcastle office.
Daniel, 26, graduated from Manchester University in 2006 with a BA (Hons) degree in Italian and Spanish. In the past year he became qualified to give financial advice by completing a Diploma in Financial Planning.
He also has previous financial services experience having worked as a Paraplanner for an Independent Financial Advisor also based in the city. Newcastle-based marketing firm Different has appointed Claire Knight as a senior account manager and Dave Lister and Bruno Casari as junior software developer.
Claire, from Newbiggin, brings with her over 6 years’ experience in the marketing industry having worked on projects for major brands such as Tesco Personal Finance, Lloyds TSB, Scottish Widows and Strongbow.
At Different, Claire will work on some of the company’s leading clients both in the public and private sectors. Dave Lister, from Durham, joins Different Digital from Stafford University where he achieved a BSc in Software Engineering. Bruno Casari, from Gateshead graduated from Newcastle University with an MSc in Computing Science. Both Dave and Bruno will be working on Different Digital’s Pando Content Management System and developing bespoke web and mobile applications.
Meanwhile, Nicola Quinn has been appointed media and public affairs executive at Newcastle Airport joining Dave Laws, chief executive, and Graeme Mason, head of planning and corporate affairs. Previously an account manager at Newcastle PR agency Admiral, Nicola’s responsibilities spanned across a variety of national and regional corporate and consumer clients in both the public and private sectors.
