Newcastle giant Eaga for expansion
GREEN support services group Eaga today said it was well placed for future growth after revealing a slight increase in annual revenue to £762m.
The Newcastle-headquartered firm, which manages a number of Government contracts and the digital switchover project, enjoyed a 3.1% rise in revenue in the year ended 31 May.
The company said it had secured four Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) contracts worth £50m during the period while other domestic renewables programmes are being advanced.
The firm had a closing net cash balance of £37.9m, compared to £31.3m the previous year.
Chairman Charles Berry, Chairman, said: “I am pleased to report on another successful year for Eaga in the delivery of our strategic objectives. I believe that Eaga’s strategic positioning across its core markets leaves the business well placed to deliver future growth.”
