Brand agency shortlisted for top award

North East based brand communications agency We Do has been shortlisted for four Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North East PRide Awards.

Middlesbrough-based We Do, first time entrants to the prestigious industry awards, have been named as a finalist for four awards: Outstanding Small Consultancy, Low Budget Campaign, Integrated Campaign and Best Event.

The industry led awards are to recognise high quality public relations work across the whole of the North East and are judged by an independent committee made up of PR industry experts from across the UK.

The brand communications agency has been nominated for ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy’ for their hardworking team covering all aspects of public relations, marketing, design, digital and events.

Shortlisted in the ‘Integrated Campaign’ category for their work with Durham Tees Valley Airport supporting global airline KLM to increase passenger numbers by over 10%.

Their work with Middlesbrough’s Independent Quarter Baker Street has been nominated for ‘Low Budget Campaign’ and event work delivered for Tees Valley Unlimited, largest ever skills event the Tees Valley Skills Event has been shortlisted for ‘Best Event.’

The CIPR North East PRide awards takes place on October 3 at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead, Newcastle.
