HOAX adds to its ever-expanding trophy cabinet after being awarded Best Youth Accommodation
Following the recent accolade as ‘Hippest’ UK Hostel, HOAX is adding more prestigious awards to its trophy cabinet.
The acclaimed boutique hostel beat off stiff competition from across the globe to be crowned the Best Youth Accommodation, during the Global Youth Travel Awards 2014.
As voted by 7,500 travellers, the awards ceremony held at The Mansion House in Dublin, recognised HOAX for its ‘commitment to providing young visitors with outstanding quality, memorable experiences and quirky offerings’.
General Manager of HOAX Emma Wight said: “We are delighted to have received this wonderful award, which identifies our efforts in delivering affordable luxury to young travellers from around the world.
“We believe that budget doesn’t have mean basic, therefore we like to go above and beyond to raise the expectations of the hostel and appeal to the younger demographic. Our aim is to revolutionise the notion of stylish hostelling, by keeping our look fresh and modernistic, as well as frequently updating our varied amenities.“
In addition to the impressive win, HOAX has also been shortlisted in a whole host of other competitions including Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards and Best Employers in Hospitality Awards 2014.
Emma added: “We are extremely grateful to continue to receive high applause and positive feedback from many of our travellers. With the endorsement from the Global Youth Travel Awards, we hope to maintain our prominent stance in the fairly niche market, whilst also carrying out further developments to our in-house restaurant and bar, Hopskotch.“
